The primary purpose of this position is:
To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA), Digital Curation Division and Functional Area Manager for the Agency and Department of the Air Force History and Museums Program (DAFHMP) relating to archival digital curation/digitization and establishing digital archival policies and guidance for preservation.
