Job Skills / Requirements ESS Clean is looking for an organized, people-focused
HR & Recruiting Coordinator to join our team at our Corporate Office in Urbana, Illinois.
HR or recruiting experience is welcome, but it is not required. Experience in customer service, office administration, hospitality, staffing, scheduling, or another people-focused role could also prepare you well for this position.
This role plays an important part in keeping our hiring process moving. You'll connect with applicants, conduct pre-screen interviews, coordinate interviews with our managers, prepare offers, support onboarding and orientation, and make sure candidates have the information they need throughout the process.
You'll also support day-to-day HR activities including employee records, I-9 documentation, training coordination, and other employee lifecycle processes.
We're looking for someone who is
good with people, comfortable with technology, and good at figuring things out. You don't need to come in knowing all of our HR processes -- we're looking for someone who is willing to learn, asks good questions, and follows through. If you notice something is incomplete or isn't working the way it should, you take the next step to figure out what needs to happen.
What You'll Do - Review applications and conduct candidate pre-screen interviews
- Coordinate interviews and hiring activity with managers across our five branches
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process and follow up on outstanding items
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment and onboarding requirements
- Facilitate new hire orientation, both in person and virtually
- Create and maintain accurate employee and recruiting records
- Coordinate Form I-9 documentation and other required employment paperwork
- Track organizational training requirements and follow up on incomplete items
- Monitor recruiting activity and help identify positions or locations that need additional attention
- Work with our HR team and branch leaders to solve routine recruiting and onboarding issues
- Assist with other HR and administrative projects as needed

About the Position This is a
full-time position primarily working in person at our Urbana office at 2406 E. University Ave. Occasional travel to support our branch locations with orientation or events may be required.
